History
The aroace flag represents individuals who identify as both asexual and aromantic. The flag design features five horizontal stripes in white, green, black, gray, and orange. The flag emerged within online LGBTQ+ communities as a visual symbol for those experiencing little to no sexual or romantic attraction. Like many pride flags created in the 21st century, the aroace flag was developed through community consensus and crowdsourced design processes on platforms dedicated to LGBTQ+ identity representation.
