History

The Genderqueer Pride Flag represents genderqueer people—those whose gender does not fit neatly into man or woman, but is a mix, neither, both, or something else entirely. It was designed by Marilyn Roxie in 2011 to give the genderqueer community a recognizable symbol of its own. The three horizontal stripes are lavender, white, and green: lavender mixes pink and blue to represent the blending of genders, white represents agender or gender-neutral identity, and green represents identities outside the binary.
