Intersex-inclusive pride flag
A pride flag that adds explicit representation for intersex people—those born with bodies that don't fit typical male or female categories—to the wider LGBTQ+ community.
These colors represent important ideas connected to this flag and community.
History
The Intersex-inclusive pride flag represents the whole LGBTQ+ community while specifically including intersex people—those born with bodies (chromosomes, hormones, or anatomy) that don't fit typical definitions of male or female. Valentino Vecchietti designed it in 2021 as an update to Daniel Quasar's 2018 Progress Pride flag, which itself added stripes recognizing trans people and queer people of color. The new design folds in the intersex flag's yellow and purple circle alongside the rainbow and chevron. The colors are blue, purple, magenta, lime green, cyan, orange-brown, red, yellow, orange, pink, gold, and white.
