History
The Progress Straight Ally Flag represents straight and cisgender allies of LGBTQ+ people, meaning people who are not LGBTQ+ themselves but actively support LGBTQ+ rights and community. It combines the Progress Pride chevron created by Daniel Quasar in 2018 with the older black-and-white striped ally flag pattern. The chevron arrows include light blue, pink, and white stripes for the transgender community, plus brown and black to represent LGBTQ+ people of color, while the rainbow stripes stand for the broader LGBTQ+ community the allies support.
