History
The Questioning Flag represents people who are still figuring out their sexual orientation or gender identity and are not yet ready to settle on a specific label. It emerged from online LGBTQ+ communities that wanted to affirm questioning as a real, valid place to be rather than just a stop on the way to another identity. The design uses rainbow-style stripes with a black question mark to symbolize the open, exploratory nature of this stage. The colors are blue, green, magenta, red, orange, yellow, and black.
