History
The 2017 Diversity Flag celebrates the LGBTQ+ community, the broad group of people whose sexual orientations or gender identities are not exclusively straight or cisgender. It uses nine stripes to highlight how varied and overlapping those identities can be. The colors are lavender, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, indigo, and violet.
